Overseer - Lilydale & Manunda Stations

An opportunity exists within The Mutooroo Pastoral Company for an Overseer to join the team at the combined Lilydale and Manunda Stations. The joint properties are located 140km NE of Burra S.A and operate a self-replacing Merino enterprise.
As part of the role, the Overseer will work closely with the Station Manager to plan and coordinate daily tasks, and have the ability to lead a team and mentor/develop staff on a daily basis.
We’re looking for someone who:
A HR, HC or MC licence and experience with heavy machinery is an advantage but not required. Mutooroo Pastoral Company has a policy of training and upskilling staff.
An employment position may be made available for a partner if a couple were to apply for this role.
All meals are provided and a refurbished, on-property, 2-bedroom cottage is offered within a competitive salary based on experience and ability.

- Is comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Has sound sheep husbandry skills and knowledge
- Has knowledge of general station maintenance including Fencing, Water systems and basic mechanics
- Is safety conscious at all times

The Mutooroo Pastoral Company are proud to announce The Mutooroo Pastoral Company Scholarship for two students per year to study Farm Management at Marcus Oldham College in Geelong. We provide each student with a monetary scholarship towards their tuition. Part of this scholarship is that each student will spend their placement year with the company.
